Payments

Happy Olive Ltd use Paypal's well known secure system to process payments. You do not need a Paypal account to make payment. Simply enter your credit card details and submit your payment. We also accept payment through  bank transfers. If you wish to pay via an alternative method please ring us on 01484 310774.

PLEASE NOTE: Payment must be made via bank transfer within 7 days of placing your order, else your order will be cancelled. Please ensure to include your order number with your payment. Please ensure your payment is made IN FULL and allows for any fees charged by your bank. For bank transfers received without an order number or the wrong amount may be refused and returned to the sender.

Delivery Schedule  We aim to deliver your order right away. We will normally dispatch your UK order to you within 2 business days.  Orders over £150 will be postage free within the mainland UK only.

As these items will be sent on a sign for basis, please make sure someone is available to recieve the item or a suitable 'safe spot' for the item to be left.  Please note we will not leave instructions for items to be left in bins.

Please note shipping rates are for Mainland UK only, and do not apply to orders made to BFPO's, N.Ireland, Scottish Islands, Scottish Highlands, or Channel Islands.  To request rates for these destinations, please use our 'Submit a Quote' feature when you go to checkout.

You must inform us within two working days if the goods are lost or damaged in transit so that we can make a prompt claim against the delivery company and correct the problem. Please quote your order number in all correspondence.  Please retain any damaged or broken goods and contact us as we may need these to make a claim.  Refunds cannot be made on damaged or broken items which have been discarded or binned without our prior consent.

You agree that proof of delivery supplied by our delivery company is sufficient evidence to establish that goods have been received

Orders are shipped daily, Monday through Friday

Please ensure your delivery address is correct as we cannot be responsible for parcels delivered to an incorrectly provided address. There will will be an additional delivery charge for parcels redirected to any address other than the delivery address provided by the customer at checkout.

We are happy to ship to homes and businesses, but we are not able to ship to hotels or PO Boxes. Please provide a residential or business address for delivery.

Out of Stock items  If your item is not in stock, we will always try to contact you to let you know prior to shipping to allow you to alter the item or opt for a refund

Returns Policy  Your rights to return goods are protected under the EU Distance Selling Directive.

You are entitled to cancel your order and return the goods within 7 working days for a full refund, including the cost of delivery. Do this by contacting us by email or telephone and quoting the order number supplied to you. Your refund will be paid within 30 days. You are responsible for the cost and risk of loss or damage when returning the goods, so you should take out enough postal insurance to cover their value. This cancellation policy does not affect your rights when we are at fault - for example, if goods are faulty or mis-described.

Any goods returned should be in saleable condition. Please note that if goods have been opened we are unable to refund them unless faulty. Cosmetic items such as colours and fragrances are unable to be returned due to the nature of the items for hygiene and safety.  Packaging and moulds etc are not affected by this.

These terms apply to your order. We may change our terms and conditions at any time, so please do not assume that the same terms will apply in the future.

None of these terms affect your legal rights and these are not diminished in any way. If any term is held to be invalid under any applicable statute or rule of law, that term is automatically omitted from the terms to minimum extent necessary to comply with the law and without affecting the validity or enforceability of the remainder. 

International Orders:

We are always happy to quote for international orders.   To do so we require details of your order, your name and full shipping address.  Please allow up to ten (10) business days (excluding holidays) for international orders to arrive.  Ask us about express options.

We are also happy to work with many postal agents or if you already have your own courier, we can work to your collection times.  If a customer chooses to use their own carrier or forwarding agency, Happy Olive Limited is not liable or responsible for any loss or damage incurred once the order is in possession of said carrier or agency. Once the parcel has been signed for by the secondary carrier or forwarding agency, our liability ends.

We will email you with the estimated cost of the order plus shipping fees.  Please note that the cheaper shipping fees often take the longest time to deliver.  Shipping fees are estimates and are subject to change.  When we give you a quote, it is always based on what we can best do for you! 

Duties and Taxes: Duties and taxes assessed by your government will be your responsibility.  Happy Olive Ltd do not mark international shipments as "gifts" or make false statements regarding the contents of items.  Happy Olive Ltd are unable to control the length of time customs take for clearance in your country. 

Pricing

Happy Olive Ltd strive to maintain the lowest possible prices at all times, it can become necessary for us to raise our prices based on the rising prices of our raw materials or delivery costs. We reserve the right to do this without notice.

Disclaimer

Our products are for external use only. While all of our fragrance oils are cosmetic grade, some can be harmful to skin and eyes in an undiluted from, so please take precautions when handling them. Please be aware that fragrance oils are not perfumes and should never be applied directly to skin. Please refer to the MSDS (available online) for proper handling, disposal, and safe usage limits.

Happy Olive Limited accepts no responsibility for the mishandling or misuse of any of our products. It is the buyer's responsibility to conduct compatibility tests prior to proceeding with manufacture using our raw materials and/or packaging materials. Happy Olive Limited cannot be held liable for products made using our raw materials or packaging materials.

Please be aware that when buying goods on the internet, you are entering into a legally binding contract. The contract bertween the customer and happy Olive Limited begins once an order has been paid for by the customer. If you feel you have made an error when placing your order, please contact us so that we can make the correction. UK laws are applicable.
